9-13-14 Sager: If they seat the last ministers on Tuesday as they're stating, 15 days later will bring us to the end of September to pass the budget, NOT the 15th of next month, as other articles seem to state ... could be a translation error. Right on time for the new fiscal year. Comment

Iraqi is working around the clock...getting things done, all inclusively.  They are kicking ass.....it’s only a matter of time, and too much IMO, before they start to shut the door to the USA influence on their countries agenda.  They will RV.....whether we get a GCR, yet is to remain...but IRAQ....Will RV....sometime before the budget approval in September months end. OilRat > Zara spook So your intel says Obama signed off on the RV?

Zara spook > OilRat Yes he did! But he is still holding it up!

OilRat > Zara spook My point exactly. The reason that signature was so important is that if he delays it, plan B will be initiated, quickly.

Zara spook > OilRat  Do you honestly think someone will go around the US! I think not!

OilRat > Zara spook Yes I absolutely do. With sigs in place, Iraq has complete authority to RV when they are ready. I promise you this, Abadi is no puppet. He cares more for his people and Iraq then what O thinks.

Zara spook > OilRat I agree that Abadi is exactly what Iraq needed! Problem is they are relying on the US to handle their ISIS situation! Iraq won't PISS off the US! Also, if Iraq had complete control how come they haven't pulled the trigger yet? Their goverment has been formed for days! Hmmmm, good question!

OilRat > Zara spook Not completely.   I think Abadi is working with all sides to make it smooth, but if that doesn't work, he will push the button.

9-13-14 Iraqi News: US General Allen to head anti-ISIL coalition effort.

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Retired US Marine general John Allen, former commander of American forces in Afghanistan, was appointed coordinator of the international effort against the Islamic State, formerly known as the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (ISIL), the State Department announced.

“In this role General Allen will help continue to build, coordinate and sustain a global coalition across the multiple lines of efforts to degrade and ultimately destroy ISIL,” said State Department deputy spokeswoman Marie Harf, referring to the jihadists that have marauded against parts of Iraq and Syria.

President Barack Obama, in announcing a strategy to destroy the group, said the creation of an international coalition that included Arab and Muslim states was vital to the anti-ISIL effort.

Allen’s deputy will be Brett McGurk, the deputy assistant secretary of state for Iraq and Iran.

Allen directed US troops as well as the International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan from 2011 to 2013. He also served a key US military role in the Iraq war.

In late 2012 President Barack Obama nominated Allen to be supreme commander of transatlantic alliance Nato, one of the most prestigious US military posts. Article Link - Comment

This guy protected Bush when Bush was in office. He's been around. This guy told my chief that there are people are flying out to China and exchanging. MY chief asked him how that's possible, and nowhere else? The SS guy said, Obama doesn't want us to have this money. I guess the story with Egypt could very well be true, if people can exchange in China as well. Comment

9-13-14 Mnt. Goat: Hi Everyone. I come to you today to give you a short and brief update on the progress of the new government and how this relates towards the international rollout of the IQD for Iraq.

Today's news letter, as in all my news letters, is a continuation of the ongoing saga of the IQD RV process. Please refer back to my news letter of  9/12 (LINK) as this news letter is a continuation of this news.

Today’s News

Today is Saturday 9/13 and so far this week we witnessed the announcement of the ”fully”  formed government of Iraq. At least this is what we were told since in fact we know now that many positions were simply filled with proxy ministers so they could replace them later with the permanent ministers.

They needed to do this to meet the constitutional deadline and for NATO and USA coalition to go ahead with the strategic plan to fight ISIS. Could this be why we have not yet see the currency reform project completed and their currency revaluation announced, as we were told would coincide with the announcement of their government (which was announced on last Tuesday)?

So today out pops news from Iraq - the MP for the rule of law that Huda Carpets announces "ministries (Defense, Interior, and water resources, and the Displacement and Migration, women) will be ready to vote at a meeting next Tuesday” to meet the 7 day required timeline.

Note that the "Union of Iraqi forces sent its candidates for the Ministry of Defense and submitted two names to the Prime Minister, Jaber al-Jabri and Khalid al-Obeidi,"   that Abadi will choose one of them to take over the Ministry of Defense."

Summary

So today’s news is all very good news again. I just wanted to drop in with this very quick  news letter to let everyone know Iraq is still very much on track to see the final group of ministers get voted on this coming Tuesday 9/16. The controversial Defense and Interior ministers along with the other couple ministers should all be seated at this time.

We anxiously await!

After this is completed we will see what impact this has on the RV process. We are still being told they do plan to finally roll out the revalued rate to the international community at this time. We shall see.

I will tell you I have strong evidence that there was a planned timeline this week to RV their currency but there was a hold on it due to the lack of mainly a permanent defense minister being seated. Seems they do need this “fully” formed government in reality and not just an announcement…..lol….

However if this RV does not happen with days if not hours after these final ministers are seated do not get disappointed. It may only be that they are still requiring more security to be put in place to protect Iraqi borders and provinces. There may also be an issue of implementation of many of the delayed economic reforms. Investors will require this since they need to feel assured that their investment is protected and Iraq is no longer a crazy Wild West spectacle but instead a secured nation with a functional government. This is even more especially true after this crazy ride they are now on with DAASH and ISIS attacks.  Be patient. It is all looking very good.

Then when can we expect the RV?

All I will say is what I have been saying all along we wait for a formal (global) announcement to the public that the Iraq government is now fully formed and seated. Many of you asked me if a formal, public announcement is necessary and the answer is a big fat YES.

I want to emphasize once again this final announcement of the IQD going international will not happen until the USA feels the Iraq government is stable, non-sectarian and is a functional government. This is has been the plan all along. They may have wavered a bit on how the plan was implemented but the overall plan guidelines have not changed.

Peace and Luv To Ya All.

9-13-14 SteveI: You know, this is Iraq, a third world country that had a very bad leader and anything can happen, good or bad.

This is an investment and I have seen no dealer that guarantees what you purchased will be worth anything more or less in the future.

Now, with our many sources, this investment will in the end be a very good one for those that treat it as just that, until then you live day to day as if you never had it and live in the present and prepare for the future.

I have invested in it and I will not at any cost bail now or even in the future.

The results may have not happened within your time frame but this is not about you, but rather a county that is preparing for a new economic future.

You all have a safe week and will post our update only when we have something worthy to post that we can backup.

Ok now let's get back to the news and look for the budget getting passed. Until then, we do what we do not like to do, wait. Comment

9-13-14 Iraqi News: Pentagon announces intensifying raids against ISIS in Iraq – sends more advisers to Erbil.

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Pentagon announced the intensification of air strikes against terrorists of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria “ISIS” organization in Iraq, and sending more American military advisers to Erbil city, the capital of the Kurdistan region.

The Pentagon’s spokesman Admiral, John Kirby said at a news conference that “the raids will be intensified against ISIS sites in Iraq,” but he also said that “those air strikes are not the only capable of elimination the organization from the military side.”

He added that “the coming raids in Iraq need ground troops which of course, will not be Iraqi.”

Kirby added that his country “would send 125 military advisers to Erbil city to prepare reconnaissance missions, surveillance, intelligence and support NATO’s International efforts as well as being part of a plan to secure strategic plans for launching aircraft from the city”.
